He Loves, He Cares For You!

The last few weeks have been hectic at best, chaotic more often.  There have been more downs that ups.  My world has moved way out of my comfort zone.  It's called a comfort zone for a reason, it's where we want to stay.  There have been some lessons, I would have preferred to learn them a different way.  But that wasn't God's way.

I've said it before and I will continue to say it, God is teaching me daily.  I do not know where tomorrow may take me, I have no idea if the path will be one that I would choose.  But I know His direction will always be in my best interest.  That is sometimes hard to hear in the valley. When our heart cries for deliverance, and God says 'you must learn here', we seldom want to hear that.

Yet it is part of His purpose for our life.  Sometimes we think He isn't listening or He isn't answering.  I have to ask you something, are you listening?  I mean really listening?  Or are you just looking for relief.  Sometimes He is whispering to us, 'be still', 'trust me', 'rest in me' but we are so busy struggling we don't hear that whisper.

God loves you, He not only loves you, He cares about you.  You may say 'how is that different?'.  Well, in loving He extended mercy, in caring He is there to meet every need.  But we have to be open to receive either of these.  Unless we are in communication and fellowship, we aren't going to see these in action.

Gifts left unopened don't show us the expression of love that the actual gift can bring.  We may know what is in the package or at least think we do but for the gift to be of any good to us, we must open it.  We must experience it.  Salvation is the same way.  So are all of God's gifts.  We must activity participate to see what they truly are.
